NEW BEGINNINGS BIRTHING CENTER

New Beginnings Birthing Center offers specialized health services to meet the physical and emotional needs of new mothers. Completely renovated in 1998, it offers modern conveniences for both mothers and newborns in an atmosphere of high technology and high compassion.

The New Beginnings staff is energetic, caring, and competent. Staff members eagerly participate in each unique birth experience. Being part of a small healthcare facility allows us to deliver individualized personal care. Physicians, staff and our expectant families work together to develop and implement a plan of care that meets the needs of each individual family unit.

The center has labor and delivery suites, a newborn nursery, a special breastfeeding room, a father's waiting area, and postpartum/gynecology areas. It also offers childbirth educational classes for expectant parents. Lactation teaching is available by the nursing staff to provide inpatient and outpatient support to breastfeeding mothers. In-house, state-of-the-art acoustic tests allow physicians to immediately assess the hearing capabilities of newborns as well.
