EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

Lincoln Medical Center offers a competitive benefits program to meet the needs of its diverse workforce. The following is a summary of some of the benefits offered to employees.

  • Paid Days Off (PDO) - PDO time accrual for vacation, sick and holiday pay. Accrued time is available after six months of employment.
  • Retirement - Defined benefit plan based on gross earnings and length of service. It provides monthly income to retired employees. Employees are fully vested after five years of service.
  • Tax Deferred Annuity - 403(b) Plan - Available though payroll deduction for employee contribution and employer matching after one year of employment - up to 6 percent matched at 50 cents on the dollar.
  • Health Insurance - PPO Health, Dental and Prescription Drug Program. Effective date is 30 days from the date of hire.
  • Vision Coverage - Employee contribution only for employee and dependents.
  • Life and AD&D Insurance - Provided by Lincoln Medical Center.
  • Supplemental Life and AD&D Insurance - Employee contribution only. Effective the first day of the month following hire date.
  • Short-term disability - Employee contribution only. Provides income replacement when eligible employees become disabled. Effective the first day of the month following hire date.
  • Long-term disability - Provided by Lincoln Medical Center. Provides income replacement when eligible employees become disabled. Effective the first day of the month following hire date.
  • Specialized Insurance Program - Employee contribution only. (Central States of Omaha, Colonial Life and NY Life).
  • Tuition reimbursement/scholarships - Provides financial assistance for approved courses. Available after six months of employment.
  • Employee Assistance Program - Provided by Lincoln Medical Center for all employees. Up to five free assessments and referral visits for employees and dependents.

s Employees are full-time if they work 70 to 80 hours per pay period.
s Employees are part-time if they work 40 to 69 hours per pay period.
